After analyzing the results of the examination, we make a treatment program taking into account aspects of drug correction and selection of the optimal dose of the cell preparation with the appropriate source of origin (bone marrow, adipose tissue, umbilical cord blood, fetoplacental complex).
Depending on the type of disease and the peculiarities of its course, the course of treatment may include from 1 to 5-6 injections of cellular drugs. Repeated injections are performed after a certain period of time (for example, after 7 or 15 days). The method of administration is agreed upon with the attending physicians of the partner clinic. Quite often our treatment protocols include a combination of intravenous (systemic) and local (e.g. submucosal or subcutaneous) insertion of a dose of cell suspension.
The process of preparation of stem cell preparation takes place in a biotechnological laboratory. The therapeutic dose can be performed from own cells isolated from the patient’s body tissues, or from donor tissues – the so-called “cell grafts”, which undergo thorough laboratory screening for viral and bacterial infections.
Before use, the cells are washed from protein inclusions and diluted in a special solution for insertion. Quite often the cells are suspended (diluted) on the patient’s own plasma.
After a course of cell therapy, patients are re-examined and inspection by specialists during the year. Clinical follow-up may continue for several years to assess the long-term outcomes of treatment.
